STARS OF THE SHOW
Marlin Hurt, a white man,
was the first Beulah. Bob Corley,
another white man, was the second Beulah.
The third Beulah was Hattie McDaniel
After Hattie the roll was played by
either Lillian or Amanda Randolph.
The show originated with CBS in 1945.
It jumped to ABC for a brief period,
Feb - Aug. Then in Nov, it jumped
back to CBS and stayed with them
until the show's end.
