The show aired first on NBC, June 3, 1947 - September 28, 1948. It later came back, but for a short run on CBS, June 5 - September 25, 1949.

Those appearing or associated with the show were Joseph Julian as police commissioner Bill Grant and George Petrie also as Grant. Joan Tompkins as criminal psychologist Libby Tayler and Amzie Strickland also as Taylor. Robert Dryden played the dry-humored assistant Sergeant Maggio. The annoucers were Jay Simms and Hugh James. Ben Ludlow provided the music, John Cole was the director and the writer was Peter Barry.
