
The show aired first on Mutual, August 7, 1949 - June 24, 1951. It then made it's final run on NBC, July 1, 1951 - December 21, 1952. Both network presentations were sponsored by U.S. Tobacco.
William Gargan first played Martin Kane (1949-51). Lloyd Nolan then picked up the role (1951 to mid-1952). Lee Tracy was the last to have the role afterwareds. Walter Kensella was Hap McMann.
Nicholas Saunders had the role as Sergeant Ross and Frank M. Thomas was the police captain.
