The show aired first on NBC, Sept. 25, 1933 - Mar. 26, 1937. A shift was then made to the Blue Network, Sept. 27, 1937 - Mar. 27, 1942. Mutual then picked up the show and ran it to its end, June 5, 1944 - Dec. 16, 1951.

Appearing on the show were Artells Dickson, Jack Holden, Russell Thorson and Joe "Curley" Bradley all as Tom Mix. Percy Hemus as the Old Wrangler. George Gobel, Andy Donnelly and Hugh Rowlands all as Jimmy. Jane Webb and Winifred Toomey as Jane. Sidney Ellstrom as Amos Q. Snood. Vance McCune and Forrest Lewis as Wash. Leo Curley as Sheriff Mike Shaw. Joe "Curley" Bradley as Pecos Williams.
